1. Parties and acceptance
These terms govern the relationship between Tecof, which provides the Tecof platform (tecof.com, app.tecof.com and related services), and the person or organisation that opens an account or uses the platform (the "User"). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.
2. The service
Tecof is a software service (SaaS) that lets you build, edit and run a website and an e-commerce store. What is included depends on your plan and may evolve over time: features can be added, changed or, with reasonable notice, removed.
3. Account and responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, the confidentiality of your password and everything done through your account. When you invite team members, actions taken within the permissions you grant also belong to your account. Anyone under 18 may open an account only with the consent of their legal representative.
4. Plans, payment and renewal
- The free plan may be used within the limits stated on the pricing page.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the period you choose (monthly or yearly); payments are collected through the licensed payment institution iyzico.
- Where a free trial is offered, the subscription continues as paid at the end of the trial; cancel before the trial ends and nothing is charged.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; fees for a period already used are not refunded.
- Prices may change; a change never affects your running period and is announced before renewal.
- AI features run on credits. Credits come with your plan, are consumed as you use them and have no cash value.
5. Content and ownership
The content you upload and create (copy, images, product data, store records) remains yours. You grant us the permission needed to host, process and display it so we can provide the service. The Tecof software, design, brand and theme infrastructure belong to Tecof and may not be copied, sold or derived from beyond the licence your plan grants.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform to sell unlawful goods or content, for fraud, phishing or spam, to distribute malware, to publish content infringing intellectual property or personality rights, or for behaviour threatening the security or integrity of the system (unauthorised access attempts, excessive load, reverse engineering). Breaching these rules may lead to suspension or closure of your account.
7. AI output
Text, images and page drafts produced by AI are a starting point; their accuracy, legality and brand fit are your responsibility to review before publishing. Liability arising from published content rests with the User who publishes it.
8. Third-party services
When you use integrations such as payments, shipping, marketplaces, SMS or analytics, that provider's own terms apply as well. Their availability, pricing and data practices are the provider's responsibility.
9. Service continuity
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running securely and without interruption, but temporary outages may occur due to maintenance, infrastructure failures, cyber attacks or third-party issues. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is". Tecof is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data, or damages arising from the User's own content or from third-party services. Your statutory consumer rights are reserved.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. Tecof may suspend or terminate an account in case of breach of these terms, non-payment or unlawful use. After termination you are given a reasonable period to export your data.
12. Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated; the current version is published on this page and material changes are announced. The terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Questions: info@tecof.com.
