From prompt to publish: how to build a site in three steps on Tecof
Building a site on Tecof takes three steps: write the idea as a prompt, edit the pages the agents generate in Studio, and publish. This post covers what to watch for at each step.
1. The prompt: industry, audience and call to action
A good prompt says what you sell, who you sell to and what you expect from the visitor, in one paragraph. A concrete brief such as "a boutique in Antalya selling handmade ceramics; audience 25–45; main call to action: browse the collection" helps the agents pick the right sections.
2. Studio: sections, elements, slots
The generated page is made of sections; elements such as headings, paragraphs and buttons live in slots. Drag an element into another slot, double-click text to edit it in place, and choose spacing and alignment from the style panel.
- Define shared blocks like header and footer as symbols; they update from one place.
- Manage TR and EN content in the same component; AI translation fills the missing language.
- Check mobile and desktop views before publishing.
3. Publishing and domains
When you publish, the site becomes available on a free tecof.site subdomain. Connect your custom domain from the panel and manage 301 redirects and SEO settings in the same place.
